In general yeast does not cause a problem as long as the body's normal responses are intact. Things like increased sugar in the vagina from a diabetics urine will make yeast grow abundantly. Killing off the normal bacteria in the vagina with antibiotics will allow the yeast to grow. A.I.D.S. and other serious debilitating diseases may allow yeast to grow in the blood stream and cause serious infections. RDB
