The most common method of "tightening" the vagina is with what is called an anterior and posterior repair. This is usually accompanied by what is called a perineoplasty, which involves tightening the outer portion of the vagina and near the bottom where often a woman has had either episiotomies or tears form the birth of their children. To be truly effective, this procedure should be accompanied by a vaginal hysterectomy if one has not already been done. It doesn't have to be, but the results seem to be better. Additionally, one should not undertake this repair if they plan on having children via vaginal delivery following the procedure. The birth will simply undue everything that was repaired. There is a guy in Beverly Hills that has a center called the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Center, that specializes in repairs for "social" reasons. To this point, the repairs have been kinda reserved for women with medical problems like urinary incontinence or prolapse. This gentleman is providing a service for women who just want things tighter and to appear more like that which they started with. He states that women have been having plastic surgery on other parts of their bodies for years, why not provide the service for one of a woman's most valued areas... Lynn
