It would be >grealty appreciated. Thank you all. God Bless! A myomectomy entails a surgical incision on the lower abdomen, just about at the pubic hair line. Once inside the abdomen, the fibroids are identified and then removed by surgical means. The uterus is repaired and the case is concluded. In some cases of myomectomy, because of the removal process, women must undergo a cesarean delivery for subsequent pregnancies because it is thought to be unsafe to labor. There can be blood loss associated with a myomectomy, but measures are usually taken to limit this. I have cared for many women in whom I have done myomectomies and they have had successful pregnancies following. I believe you are correct in seeking the ultimate consult with your faith in God, not because this is an extreme case, but because he will certainly see you through any difficulties... Lynn
