Hello everyone, I am a 25 yr old female with a fibroid 16-20weeks. I have been to 4 doctors and all of them said that if i wanted to have children I would have to have it removed b/c they will continue to grow and affect my organs or my period. I am so scared because i want to have a successful surgery and i want to be able to have healthy children. I know God will give me the strength that I need to pull through this.I do not have any symptoms from the fibroid.No cramps,pains and my period is normal. The only reason I went to the doctor is b/c i noticed my stomach was extremely hard and when I laid down there was a slight lump just above my pubic hair line. I cried when I fould out I had to have surgery. My reproductive area is such a vital area and I want to be able to have health children.The surgery that was recommended to me was a myomectomy. I would grealty appreciate it if any ObGyn's would explain to me how the procedure works, what I should expect and about the blood lost(I am donating my own blood just in case I need it)That really scared me. Also if any women out there have had the (myomectomy surgery for their Fibroids) PLEASE share your experience with me via e-mail. It would be grealty appreciated. Thank you all. God Bless!
