E. Coli infection on fertility

I've recurrent vaginal infection. After a culture done, the result is E. coli. How this bacteria affect fertility ? Does it has any effect on cervical mucous production or sperm penetration ?

I've been trying to conceive for 1.5 year already and my docs couldn't get any other problems which affect my fertility.

What antibiotics should be good enough to cure my vaginal infection?

Thank you.
