Hi Jules,

I had this same problem about a year or so ago. The Dr. tried a couple of different creams (at times my cultures were positive for yeast and bacterial vaginosis). There were several times where I was very red and raw, but nothing on cultures. My Dr. did a vulvar biopsy, where they numb an area and take a little biopsy and send it to the pathologist to see if there is something going on. After the results came back, I was put on two different creams/ointments and it worked.

Talk to the Dr. about doing a biopsy if all else has failed. I know this is not a comfortable thing to go through. Another thing for soothing the area. You can use the Aveeno Oatmeal Baths and also use a bag of frozen peas as an ice pack to the vaginal area. It molds perfectly. Also use Dove Unscented for Sensitive Skin. Try to use detergents that are dye free/perfume free as well.

Hope this helps.
