Suzy:
Get yourself a prescription for Zovirax ointment, and don't let the
doctors tell you it doesn't work for cold sores. I have 29 years
experience in cold sores and I would pay hundreds of dollars to get that
stuff. Zovirax actually stops the sore - it does not need to run its
course if you use the right stuff. It can even be stopped before it
fully festers when you get it early.
If you can't get the prescription, I did see an ad on TV the other day
regarding a new cream that is meant to be the same. The key word is
"antiviral" - the chemist should know what are talking about if you
compare it to Zovirax.
