Aspirin usually works well for me, but I can't take it because I'm scheduled for surgery in 9 days. (Doctor said no aspirin within 10 days because it thins the blood.) I tried Tylenol this morning - no effect. A couple of cups of coffee... still there. I've had great results with Midrin for headaches a couple of times in the past.
