Rather than an anti yeast topical application I've been fairly successful combating yeasties from the inside out. I started taking something called "Yeast Defense" at the same time I started taking Alpha Lipoic Acid (which is supposed to help with insulin resistance). The Yeast Defense has all the good bacterium AND Pau D'arco (an anti-fungal herb) as well as a couple other things. (It's brand is "Nutrition Now" but I'm sure there are similar products by other companies.) I mention the AL Acid because I read a post that a woman had take it to help with IR and it eliminated her yeast infections. She was not sure if that was a direct or an indirect benefit. I also increased my vitamin C. Also, just for good luck, during my morning shower I wash all possible affected areas with white vinegar. Works for me.
