Hard telling for sure. Could be nothing at all.

I thought maybe I was going to start my period. I don't >want to go in to see my doctor quite yet, cause I have had a miscarriage

Neither normal sex nor an examination will cause a miscarriage. 1 out of ten pregnancies end in a miscarriage. The most common cause for this is abnormal chromosomes in the fertilized egg. When one looks at all that goes on in the early part of forming the egg, it is amazing that 9 out of ten don't miscarry. For all practical purposes, nothing you do or don't do will cause or prevent a miscarriage. Neither will anything that we as physicians do, cause or prevent a miscarriage.
