Montgomery, MD: "Re: Mitral-Valve Prolapse" I was diagnosed with MVP in December of 1997, and upon doing further research on this disorder, I have found that having this I am at a higher risk of developing Endometriosis, fibrocycstic breast disorder and several other problems. Could MVP be what is causing my gynocological problems now? And if my ob/gyn recommends a hysterectomy, will it be beneficial to my heart valve problem?
