Hello. I was just wondering if this ultrasound report actually sounds like a dermoid (because my gynecologist sounded a little in doubt):

"PELVIC ULTRASOUND:

The uterus is normal in shape, size and position measuring 63 mm in length. A solid bi-lobed mass in the right adnexa has an overall length of 58 mm and shows two rounded echogenic areas as well as a rounded hypoechoic area and the appearance in suggestive of a right ovarian dermoid.

The left ovary measures 25 mm in length and appears normal. No free fluid is demonstrated within the pelvis and the kidneys are normal in appearance.

IMPRESSION:

Solid right ovarian mass has two rounded echogenic components and the appearance in suggestive of dermoid."
