Unable to Chart Temps & when to use Robotussin?

From: Curious (anonymous@obgyn.net)

I have an erratic sleep schedule (I'm up several times a night) and I work shift work, so I can't chart. DH & I have been TCC for 6 months now (I appear to ovulate w/OPKs to confirm)...how important are temperatures? I'm vigilant about tracking other symptoms, but it seems from all the other posts in the archives that a DR will want to see a couple months of temps for infertility diagnostic purposes. Is this true?

Also - I don't have much cervical mucus - when in my cycle should I take the robotussin? Days 11 thru 16?
