before i went on mircette, i read many of the postings here and was very concerned. but i was desparate for relief from severe pms, so i tried mircette. i have severe hypothyroidism, and noticed that once i got that under control and began having regular periods, the pms became literally crippling. i would "lose" about 5-8 days of the month. 4 days spent unable to do very much at all. all of the symptoms were of an extreme physical nature. i excersise, weight train, eat right and limit caffeine. don't smoke or drink. tried all of the natural remedies first. nothing worked. i went on mircette, and by the second month, i was amazed at the difference. i'm on my 6th month, and i don't have any noticable pms. nothing! it may be that unlike many of you, the thyroid condition messes up my estrogen level, and maybe the mircette normalizes it. i'm not sure, but i feel better than i've felt in 10 years. just wanted to relate my experience. good luck to the rest of you guys. happy holidays.
