~Hello~ After much 'hemming & hawing,' I've decided to put my fears and embarrassment aside and schedule my first gyn exam, something that is long overdue. My purpose for posting here at this time is two-fold: 1. I just want to thank everyone for the wealth of information here. I read through some archived posts and visited GYN 101, both proving to be very helpful. Thank you! 2. I'd like to ask if there's anything else I should know prior to the exam. I WILL keep my appointment this time, yet 'nerves' are getting the better of me. I know this sounds ridiculous to you ol' pros out there, but it's unfamiliar and unsettling to me! Again, thank you.
