BBT doesn't spikeFrom: A. (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 2 Dec 2000 11:20:43 -0600 (CST)
I've been charting my BBT for the four months since going off the pill. The first month my temperature jumped up 0.6degF for about four days in the middle of my cycle, but I was also sick at this time so that might have been the cause. The last three months I have seen no spike. I take my temperature at 5:00am every day (my husband is sweet enough to wake up on the weekend, stick a thermometer in my mouth, read it and then go back to sleep) and my temperature is almost always between 96.9 and 97.2degF. Three days ago it dipped down to 96.7 and I was excited because this might be the dip before the spike. But, the last three days have been 96.9, 97.2, and 97.1 like usual. Is this something I should be concerned about or go to see my doctor about? Thanks, Angela
