Kristy-

Vaginal endo is probably very uncommon. However, pelvic adhesions can cause "referred pain" deep into the vagina, so it's possible you have adhesions. It's also possible you pulled a muscle (so to speak) in the vagina, as the vagina is surrounded by pelvic floor muscles that can spasm. If you actually tore your vagina it would very likely bleed a lot. Since the vagina can tolerate tampons, intercourse and delivering 10 pound babies, it's unlikely that stretching or moving around would cause a tear! The most common place to tear near the vagina is the posterior fourchette, the area at 6 o'clock at the opening of the vagina.

Alex is the King. He's over 16 pounds now, at 4.5 months. His recent pictures are at: home.cfl.rr.com/baby.htm

Take care,

Ashley
