Hello,

I am not a doctor, but know alittle bit that might help.

an infection is caused by an overgrowth of yeast in the vaginal area. Your vagina normally has yeast within it (normal make up of the environment). Many things can cause yeast to go crazy, stress, eating to much sugar, wearing tight clothes, being to wet down there, sweating, and the list goes on.

Yeast has a cottage cheese like discharge, were bacterical vaginosis I believe has yellow smelling discharge (you can find lots of info on the internet about this)

Things to do for yeast that I have found to really help.

powder yourself with cornstarch (helps with dryness and itching). When at home do not wear undergarments, and sleep bottomless if possible. take garlic vitamins, eat yogurt with live cultures, stay away from milk products. Only wear cotton undergarments. Dont eat sugar or drink juice. And if this doesnt help at all ask your doctor for DIFLUCAN(it works wonders).

Hope this helps....
