A) Is this a normal reaction post-colpo

This is not that unusual. The anxiety of the procedure, combined with the occasional discomfort results in a vagal type stimulation and nausea with possible vomiting, feeling faint or actually fainting, getting very hot, etc.

B) just how serious is high grade cervial dysplasia?

I would be somewhat concerned to be sure to follow-up with the biopsy results and get appropriate treatment. The lesions are very successfully treated.

>C) Is there a link between Oral contraceptive use and cervical dysplasia/cancer??

There is no known link. There is, however a link to sexual activity, particularly with more than one partner in a lifetime... Lynn
