I have never spotted before. The spotting lasted for a week (brownish discharge upon wiping and then having to have a pantyliner). Spotting then led to bleeding which, at first, was bright red, now has started to pass clots (now wearing a pad). Bleeding has not yet stopped. I am not on birth control and I am not pregnant. What's happening? I had sex on the 10th, 13th and 17th, could this be the cause? My cousin has endometriosis and since it runs in families, could this be the cause? With my periods I usually experience a lot of cramping - to the point where I need to lie down. Also, I pass clots during this time too.
