Anyone with a history of rare periods or long cycles who experiences a long period of bleeding must be evaluated by a gynecologic health care provider as soon as possible, regardless of age. Please make an appointment to be examined. Your worrying may be put to rest at last! The key is to make sure you don't have endometrial hyperplasia, an overgrowth of the lining of the uterus.
