I am 40yrs old and I have had breat cancer 6 years >ago. Heather I am not a pathologist, but I can tell you what I would do. In any aspect of medicine, one is entitled to a second opinion. Pathology is no exception. I would ask that the specimen be sent to one of the larger centers for a second opinion on the pathologic diagnosis. If the second opinion confirms the afore quoted diagnosis, then I would rest easily and follow your OB/GYN's recommendations. On the other had, if the opinion differs, then I would seek the opinion of a gynecologic tumor specialist. That's what I would do... Lynn
