Hi Tina,
Many times, actually most times, Orthopedic Surgeon's like to review the
x-rays themselves. I've had many x-rays done, and when it came to
anything that was possibly, or was, orthopedic in nature, the Orthopedic
Surgeon ALWAYS wanted the x-rays to read himself. Yes, a Radiologist is
trained to read them, and probably hasn't missed a thing, but that is
just the way Orthopods are. Hey, you never know, something could have
been missed, and this Orthopedist is going to pick it up!
