Sorry- I didn't see your reply until today. I am 23, so I don't think I
could be menopausal :)
I have been to the urologist (last Monday), and my gyn did cultures in
August that showed no chlamydia or gonnorrhea. She treated me for
gardnerella at the end of last month and when I just got my most recent
cultures back they were normal, except for a moderate amount of strep b.
She mentioned nothing about yeast, although I had a discharge that was
starting to look yeasty and I still had burning after urination, so i
took Diflucan. BTW, when I went to the urologist and he did a urine
culture, it came back negative. He thinks it is urethral syndrome, but
my urine volume and frequency are normal. HELP! I don't know what my
other options are; I can't live life like this. I keep wondering if my
urethra is inflammed and it is non- STD related urethritis. Outside of
the cystoscopy he did July, my urologist has not examined me down there.
Is that normal treatment? I am so frustrated... Thanks for reading.
