Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Pain on left side where ovary is" For the past few days I have been getting on pain on my left side where my ovary would be. It is not a constant pain, but if I move a certain way or bend or even talk louder I get a real quick sharp pain that goes just as quick as it comes. When I do get it it really hurts. It has been happening off and on since Satuday. I called my gyno's office today and the only appointment that she can give me is next Thursday and I said what if it gets worse and she told me they have no other appointments and if it gets worse go to the emergency room.
