Trying to post again since got no replies earlier.... 2 questions here:

I'd been on the pill for many years. While on the pill I was *so* regular that my period would always start within a 4 hour time on the same day, 28 day cycle. 6 weeks ago, I finished my pack of pills and quit taking them. IF I were as regular as I was ON the pill, I would now be 2 weeks, 2 days late.

Question #1: I've experienced all sorts of weird symptoms since going off the pill...I realize they *could* be pregnancy (I hope....) BUT my concern is SHOULD I BE WORRIED if it turns out that I'm NOT pregnant that Ive had these symptoms... In other words, can these be considered normal things one might experience just from going off the pill? (p.s. JUST before I went off the pill, I had doctors take blood tests to see if there were any thyroid problems and doctor told me I had a clean bill of health..) -nausea (every day now, esp. in the afternoon, for the past 3 weeks! I actually threw up once too, but mostly I just feel queasy.) -bloated feeling -bubbly feeling...like gassy, sort of only if anything Ive been eating much healthier food, and no wines now either! -losing my hair!!!! (its falling out like crazy!!!) - 1 day exactly 2 weeks ago, I experienced a day of cramp-like symptoms, and had to pee every half hour or so...this was NOT accompanied by any pain AND it went away in 2 days...could this be something to be concerned about???

Question #2 OK...so last week, a day after my period would have been due, if I still had a 28 day cycle off the pill as I did while ON the pill. I took a home pregnancy test and it came out negative. The test sais you have to wait till the day you miss your period to test. My question is: ...since I haven't got any idea when my cycle should start now that Im off the pill...when does a negative test result really mean that I'm not pregnant? Or is the only sure sign that Im NOT pregnant simply to wait till I finally get my period?? And if the latter is the case...how much longer do I wait before I should suspect there may be a problem that I still havent gotten either a period OR a positive result on the home pregnancy test???
