yeast and pimple? Reply: William F. von Almen, II, MD, FACOG: "Re: yeast and pimple?" I have experienced vulvar scratchy feelings (like a scratchy throat but in the vulvar area instead). The area look a bit pinker than usual. Now I have discovered one pimple on the inner buttocks in the very lowest area -- almost thigh. It is uncomfortable -- like if you press on a pimple on your face it would also be uncomfortable. Do yeast infections behave like this? That pimple scares me! I am on the road for work so I cannot get to doctor immediately. By the time I'm home I suspect the pimple -- if it heals like a usual pimple -- will be gone. Thanks for the help.
