Ablation with local anaesthetic

I am looking for answers from others who have had a rollerball ablation with local anaesthetic. My doctor has advised this is the way to go being as how general anaesthetic makes me so sick. I am feeling very anxious as I am afraid this will be a very uncomfortable procedure. I have opted not to have an epidural because the thought of a needle in my spine sends chills. Please advise.
