Also not a doctor...

Avoid sugar - more for prevention than as a cure, although I'm sure it couldn't hurt. I find when I eat too much sugar for several days (oh, say the week or so around halloween...) I'm much more prone to yeast infections.

I suspect being bundled up night and day against the cold doesn't help any either. Probably creates the perfect environment for the little beasties to thrive.

I'd love to see epidemiological data on the incidence of yeast infections around halloween, when sugar consumption *and* bundling up suddenly increase (in the U.S, anyway).
