Thank you Angii Bleeding and cramping occur and get heavier until the tissue is passed out the vagina. If the bleeding is much heavier than a period, you should be seen again. Call your Doctor and ask her/him what to do. Rather than waiting until there is heavy bleeding and a real emergency, some Docs will do a D & C now and get it over with. RDB
