Tina,
as far as I know you will not get an adverse reaction by taking the two
together. One just makes the other less effective in doing its job. You
should not have any of these symptoms unless you are allergic to the
med. So basically taking the two together will not give you side
effects like vomitting, nausea, hives, etc. Your blood pressure may
become elevated if you comingle the two drugs, but as for adverse
reactions you should not see any. Of course, depending on how high you
bp is without medication should say whether you should take the chance
of lessening the power of the bp med. But of course only your doc would
know for sure. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
