A Vaginal Infection that won't go away!

I've had a vaginal infection for many years. I've been to my family doctor and gynocologist many times in the past four years with prescription after prescription with no results. I have been diagnoised with Bacterial Vaginosis but the medication I've been given for that infection specifically has never worked. I've had some of the same medication more than once. I know it's not a sexually transmited disease due to the fact that I am still a virgin. I am almost twenty years old and extremely embarrassed byt this problem. I have been told by my family doctor that perhaps its just the way my body is but I have trouble believeing that a yellow discharge is normal. I do not experience any burning or an pain or discomfort in my abdominal area. I am sick of having to deal with this problem, can anyone help me?
