Hi Lizabeth

I had an ultra sound 3 weeks prior to having a myomectomy. My largest fibroid measured at 5.9cm on the US. However, the pathology results gave a measurement of 13.7cm. It seems that an ultra sound may not be 100% accurate. It also sounds like you are not very comfortable with your doctor. It might be a good idea to get a second opinion. It is important to feel confident in your surgeon.
