vaginismus and pregnancy..questionFrom: Aimee (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 14 Nov 2000 20:35:32 -0600 (CST)
Hi..I'm a 24 year old with vaginismus. I see a doctor every week and I'm making progress. I am otherwise healthy, have normal periods, etc. My question is, my husband and I are trying to become pregnant. Although I have never been able to have complete penetration, he is able to get about halfway inside of me. I have been charting my basal temp. for approximately 3 months and for the past 2 months we have been having intercourse (our way) every other day around the days of ovulation. He ejaculates inside of me when he is halfway or perhaps 25% of the way inside of me. Some of the sperm "leaks" back out sometimes, but other times it doesn't. My question is, are my chances of conceiving just as good as people who can have "regular" intercourse? What is the timeline? Thanks in advance.. Aimee
