Fibroids are muscle tumors that grow from the uterine cells. they are virtually all benign, and can be very small to quite large. They can cause no symptoms or can be associated with heavy bleeding, pelvic pressure or pain, and back ache among other things. There is quite a lot on line about fibroids.
