Previous message: anon: "Use of Contraceptive Pills to Alter Menstrual Cycle" Next in thread: j wang, M.D.: "Re: lower abdominal pain" Reply: j wang, M.D.: "Re: lower abdominal pain" I am 23 year old female i am experienceing lower abdominal pain, right above the pubic bone it is a stabing pain almost like a sever case of gas but... it is not going away when i went to my doctors they did a urine dip and said i have a slight UTI but i am still in pain and i am taking aantibotics. I was worried that this might be more than a UTI how long should i wait to see if this is maybe somthing that needs to be handled by a gynocologist? I am not taking any birth control pills or anything else to prevent pregnancy i was afraid that this might be something along that lines as we have been trying to have a baby for awhile.
