As long as ou are having periods, your ovaries are producing more hormone, than you will get from HRT. Light periods are no problem medically speaking. If they get heavier or come more often thatn usual, that is a problem that needs to be investigated. At 39 one should be using contraception if they don't want to get pregnant. RDB
