Depends on what the hysterectomy was for? If for precancerous changes in the cervix, then one should be done every year. One would be looking for precancerous changes in the vagina, which this person would be at high risk for having. If for totally benign disease like fibroids with no history of abnormal pap in the past, then no more often than every 5 years if at all. Again would be looking for precancerous changes in the vagina, which this person would be at very LOW risk for.
