Hi I am really scared and confused. My LMP was on Sept. 14th, and my periods range from 28-34 days. Ok I went to the Dr. on Oct. the 10th and they told me I was pregnant and that my progesterone level was great ( 31.7) It had tripled in 5 days. On Oct. the 24th they saw the gestational sac and the yolk and said everything was fine. Now is the scary part...on Nov. the 9th they said the baby was not living and they couldn't detect a heartbeat, and that I should come back in 14 hours and have a D&C. Ok why so soon for the D&C? What if I am not 8 weeks along and they miscalculated, and I am only like 6 1/2. Also they have not checked my progesterone levels or HCG levels since they told me I was pregnant...shouldn't those levels be checked very frequently. I am not bleeding or cramping. I am worried that the baby is just slow on growing and that it is still alive. Is a heartbeat supposed to be heard by like 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 weeks? Also the trans. vaginal u/s was done only 2 weeks apart...it did look the same size as the first time..Please help with any opinions. I am very worried and upset. Thank you very very much!
