If there are no other health problems that would prohibit your use of Imitrex, maybe if you sit down with her and explain your situation, she would be willing to Rx the Imitrex. Other than switching MD's which you say is not really an option at this point, I don't have any other suggestions. Well, I do have another suggestion. OCP's can cause Migraines for some women, so maybe this is one of the reasons for your migraines. What about coming off the OCP's completely and see how things go from there. There are other non hormonal BC methods that you might want to try (Condoms, foam, diaphram to name a few) Good luck to you!
