Allison, This could represent a number of things. The most likely possibility is mucous, primarily from the cervix. The second option comes from you mentioning that you are sexually active. Did you have intercourse within the 24 hours prior to having this "stuff" on your tampon? If so, this could represent the residual from ejaculation. Regardless, I do not feel that this represents a significant problem unless it becomes a recurrent occurence... Lynn
