Hi am currantly taking 1,000 mg of metformin for my insulin level. My fertility specialist perscribed it for me for an elevated level of insulin that is caused by the pcos.Has any one heard that this can help me to get pregnant? Please if any medical professional can help me that would be great. I have been trying for a baby for going on 5 years now. I have had 4 pregnancy losses and I am in desperate need to see if this is going to work.I have taken 4 cycles of clomid at 100 mg. and nothing...no baby. This is the longest I have gone without being able to concieve. All other pregnancys were concieved naturally. It has been a year and a half since my last pregnancy. so if anyone can tell me what they know about glucopage...aka..metformin. thanks much amber pope
