Abnormal Pap SmearFrom: Sam (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 1 Nov 2000 14:08:16 -0600 (CST)
Three months ago I had an abnormal pap smear. It indicated inflamation. I went back today for a re-test. The cervix was visibly red and inflamed in the center. The pap was extremely painful. The nurse practioner perscribed a vaginal cream and said we would have to see what the results of the pap are. She called the condition Cervixitis and also Cervical Inflamation. I am trying to find out information on this. Are these terms the same as Cervical Dysplsia?
