Carrie, This is VERY normal. Bear in mind that the pill functions by suppressing your cycle and creating an artificial one with the hormones it contains. The hormones contained in the pill are just enough to suppress ovarian function/ovulation and also to keep your uterus healthy. Because of that, many woman find that their "pill periods" are much lighter or non-existent on the pill. Also, keep in mind that irregular bleeding or spotting is not unusual during the first 3-4 months on the pill... Lynn
