There isn't that much to heal from after the urethra is stretched. This is usually done because there is a shrinking of the diameter of the opening, and stretching opens it up. If you are still having pain, call him and ask what to do.

>Hello everyone. On Thursday the 26th I had my urethra stretched. I have been having problems with UTI like symptoms since August. So my primary doctor finally sent me to a Urologist. He did a cystoscopy and said the bladder looked good and then he stretched my urethra. My question to everyone is how long does it take to heal from this? I am to go back in 6 weeks to see him again. But I am still having pressure and slight burning like I have been for the last 2 months and I am concerned this did not work. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
