To call or not to call????

I had vaginal surgery 9 days ago to revise a vaginal scar from previous vaginal repair surgery. I went back for a follow-up visit three days ago. Before my exam I was only spotting very lightly and the pain I was having before the surgery was gone. Since the exam, I have started bleeding more and the pain has returned, but not as bad. I thought it was normal to bleed a little more on the day of the exam, but it has not let up. And now the pain has started again, although not nearly as bad as before the surgery. This has been a chronic situation and I hate to call my extremely patient and caring doctor AGAIN. But should I? I have been through so much to get to this point and actually thought that the "battle was over". I just don't know whether to call him back. I don't go back to see him for two more weeks....Any thoughts or suggestions?? By the way I am to return to work on Monday full strength.....
