Right. She needs to avoid estrogen of all forms. It doesn't matter whether it comes from plants, soy, horses, or a test tube or Ginko, it is all estrogen and can stimulate estrogen receptors. Lubricants will lubricate, but they won't cause the lining of the vagina to get thick. She needs to discuss these symptoms with her Oncologist. There are things to try but they will vary from patient to patient dependong on many medical factors. After 5 years with no recurrence, some Docs are starting some of their patients back on estrogen.
