Montgomery, MD: "Re: HPT faint positive but Dr. office blood negative" My cycle has been 30 days for the last 5 months without change. I had a laproscopy on Sept. 13th for endo. Received my period on Sept. 19th. (30 day cycle once again). Tested positve for LH Surge Oct. 1st/2nd. Did HPT on Oct. 23rd and got faint positive (day 35). Went to the dr. and blood test on Oct. 24th and test was negative. Still no period. Why would a urine test positive and not the blood?
