In my experience, it can take several days before you start feeling relief. Could be there is external irritation and some of the medication leaked out and that is the burning you are feeling....just a guess on my part.

Pre ejaculate does contain some sperm, so you are right!

Alesse and Triphasil are different. Alesse is a monophasic pill (same level of hormone the entire pack) and Triphasil is a triphasic pill (three different levels of hormone...each seven days you get a higher amount). I was on Alesse and loved it. Not a single side effect, and my pelvic pain was gone completely! I unfortunately had to stop it due to blood clots from something unrelated to the pill. If I am ever allowed to take the OCP's again, it will be Alesse that I choose.
