Dr McIntosh, I do not have Herpes or HPV. I have had some neurological problems for the last 2 months with an increase in the loudness of my tinnitus(life long from ear infections as a child), dizziness/vertigo,lethargy, loss of hearing(has been documented by my ENT) and daily headaches that extend into my neck and ears.I was told last month I had Meniere's-like symptoms and that possibly I was suffering from a virus that had attacked my ears.I have been treated with Prednisone, Valtrex, Lasix and Xanax(prn)and Meclizine(prn). I feel like the symptoms I described in my last post are unrelated to this problem. Could the RX of Prednisone and Valtrex have caused this tingling feeling? I am no longer on any of them. I am supposeed to see a Neurologist on the 30th of October, for my headaches and neck pain. I would feel a little strange addressing my vaginal symptoms to a Neurologist. I am not a person who goes to the doctor much, but this is very frustrating.
